i think that when someone goes overboard with revenge is when they coincide..When someone starts torturing the person they are think deserve revenge is where i thnk it crosses the line, or even when someone thinks death is revenge.
I think that coinciding with insanity id when you do worse to a person than they did to you. If someone were to hit you and you decide to kill them, than that is going over the line. I don’t think any one should do something to someone, if they know that the person is going to want to seek revenge.
I think that revenge always coincides with insanity, to a certain extent. But, is it insane to want revenge? What makes someone insane? If you take a soldier who kills a man he has never before seen in his life, and compare him to a murdurer who killed someone because they had some sort of reason to..which one is more insane than the other?
I agree with Kyle about his questions. I don't really think that revenge really has anything to do with insanity unless they want revenge for some odd reason. In this story's case, I could believe it had to do with insanity because nobody really knows the reason he wants revenge on Fortunato.
I think that revenge coincides with insanity when you are killing someone in a torturing way. Revenge should never go that far, therefore it coincides with insanity.
I dont think revenge ever coincides with insanity unless the revenge targets someone who did not do harm to u, and as long as the revenge is justified in some way.
I agree with with everyone who left the comments because revange is were you want to get back at someone because they did something to you in a hurtful way where insainty is where you just are crazy and if you just kill someone or hurt them when they didn't do anything to you well then your insane.
I think that revenge turns to insanity when you kill someone. I think that regenge should just go as far as turning people against a person but not all the way to murder. So i totally agree with Jordan, Pat, Kyle, Garrett, and Conner.
I think when revenge goes to far is when you are going to kill a person. Just becuase the person does something bad to you does not mean that you have to kill them. I think that this is where revenge turns into insanity. I do agree with Kyle's questions about if a soldier kills someone in war then that is not insane becuase this would be revenge but he is jsut protecting his country.
I think that sometimes when someone is overcome with revenge they go insane and sometimes when you're insane you think somebody deserves revenge that they don't actually so they totally coincide.
i think to a point that if you really want revenge (want to kill) that will really turn into insanity because every time someone isnt nice to you. Doesnt mean that you have the right to kill someone. If you want to kill some that wasnt nice to you or did something mean to you and if you want to kill someone than the could verry well mean that you are insane or lead to insanity.
I would have to agree that once you want to kill someone, then you become insane. Revenge has a way to drive people to their limits and make them go insane. I think that revenge and insanity coincide with each other at any level, because you get sucked in and can't get out. You start with a simple plan for revenge, but as time goes on, the plan gets more complex and gruesome, and eventually ends up driving you insane.
Revenge coincides with insanity, like every one else says, when someone kills somebody for retaliation. But revenge does not always mean to retaliate and inflict punishment for someone else’s wrong doings; it could also mean something else entirely different. For example, when you lose in some sport, you always want revenge to get back at them, which means that you don’t want to hurt them, you want to beat them on the scoreboard. However even in sports revenge can get out of control, if somebody were to commit a criminal act in an effort to exact revenge. In such an instance the revenge boarders on insanity.
I think that the point of which revenge coincides with insanity is the point where you exagerate on what really happened, causing you to be insane and to the point that you want to seek revenge on someone to get even or get rid of them.
I think revenge concides with insanity when, as other people have said, it's worse than what the person did to you. Wanting to kill someone could be considered insane, unless they killed someone important to you. Then I think it's justifiable to want to kill them, but I don't think it's always justifiable to kill them back.
I think that if anyone does a wrong to you that you probably and most likely want revenge. This doesn't mean you are insane though. But there is revenge in insanity, because if somebody want's revenge too badly and goes psycho over it, they are probably insane.
Revenge normally coincides with insanity because most people are willing to for give one another. So most of the time you would have to be insane to take revenge because the effect of revenge can put you in jail for life.
Revenge coincide with insanity only in some caces. Revenge on someone who may have polled a prank on you and you get back at them by pranking them back is one thing. But swering revenge one some one for something much wores or personal, there comes in insanity. Like from the "Cask of Amontillado" it had to have taken a lot of thought or none at all to think of that plan to kill. To think of ways to kill people or already having ideas meens that you have got to be insane.
You can get revenge on somone in a way that is fair and not really harming, but once you cross the line of torchering somone or killing somone in revenge you are definately across the line of fair revenge and insanity revenge.
I disagree with quinn on a certain level because revenge is a natural feeling. Althuogh he does have some good points because usually if you are honestly sorry you'll be forgiven.
