What does it mean to have a professional learning environment? What does it mean to be a producer of information versus a consumer of information?

A professional learning environment is one where anyone can come and learn what they need to know. It is one that enhances the learning and encourages people to think for themselves.

A producer of information is someone who gives information out for the world to take in. A consumer of infomation is one who takes in information from the world. There can be both good and bad consumers and producers of information. A good producer is one who is helpful and supplies the world with useful information. A good consumer is one who uses the information that they consume to produce new information.

A producer of information is different from a consumer because a producer thinks for him self and creates new ideas while a consumer spits back whatever was told to them without thought.

A professional learning enviroment is a place where you are tought the facts, not someones opionion. It means you are in a place where there is no complaining and you do the assingnments that you are told to do. It means that you come to learn.

A producer of information is someone who prints the news or creates it. A consumer of news is someone who reads it and/or reacts to it. For example, a producer of news can write a news paper article or win the world record for something, and a consumer will read about the story.

A professional learning enviroment means your learning in a quiet, calm area. No Distractions.

A producer supplies the information and a consumer just listens to the information.

A professional learning environment is when someone can learn with out being disturbed. They should be able to be respectful not only to others but the teacher also. They should be able to learn, take notes, and read, with out the distraction of others.
A producer of information is someone who gives out or tells facts to the consumer. It is the consumer's job to listen and pay attention to the producer.

I think that a professional learning environment is when there are people around you that know what they are doing. Also, it is when those people can agree on a lot of the same things and when everyone helps eachother to learn all at the same pace.

The producer of information versus the consumer of information is that the producer is the one that is the primary source of the information that see's it first-hand. They are also the ones that know the information before anyone else does. The consumer is the one that gets the information as a secondary source that knows it later on. For example, a producer starts the rumor. The consumer hears about the rumor.

What it means to have a professional learning enviroment is that you have a space of your own where you will be focused on the work and not get distraced something around you.

To be a producer of information means that you will be providing the information or giving it. To be a consumer means that you are taking the information in and learning from it.

A professional learning enviornment is one in which there are no childish comments or discussions I guess. It also, as Jordan said, is a place that you will have space to focus on and concentrate on the task at hand.

To be a producer of information basically means that you are talking, and sharing the knowledge that you have. To be a consumer of information would mean that you are being quiet and taking in the information that is being presented.

To be a producer of infro mation means that you have the knolledge to do so then not having and just now learning it.

A professional learning environment needs to have a space for students to do any written work and not too many distractions. There should also be a space where the students can sit down and learn. It should be a place where students feel comfortable asking questions and not feel stupid.

A producer of information, like a teacher, gives their students information. A consumer of information is a person who is willing to learn and takes in all the information they where given.
